My favourite part of Canadian History is looking at how far we have come and how we have changed to accept many different kinds of people.
I chose this question because I was able to touch upon an event in Canadian history that impacted both Canada's identity as well as my own.
‘The world started to acknowledge Canadians as worthy not only on the battlefield, but also upon the international stage.’
‘Vimy Ridge was capable of uniting not only the soldiers to fight as one, but also Canadians on the homefront.’
This question resonated with me as a Canadian of non-British descent.
Expo 67 displayed the vision of the future, decades from then. What they saw, would become the reality of the future.
