Canadian Human Rights Act
The Canadian Human Rights Act has been the backbone of Canada’s diverse and inclusive history since 1977, because of this it should receive a monument atop parliament hill. It deserves this, because it has helped so many Canadians over the many years it has been around. Specifically, The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal who has helped individuals win cases and put a stop to hate crimes. In doing so it contributes to a diverse and inclusive history of Canada, by protecting Canadians from discrimination as well as giving us Human Rights. Therefore this act deserves recognition on Parliament Hill because of the spectacular way it has influenced Canadian society since it was first passed.
