A Showcase in Honour of Canada’s LGBTQ

Canada’s extensive history showcases how conflicting beliefs and varying values have puzzled past governments and segregated various communities. Standing as a multicultural hub, Canada‘s identity as a revered haven was earned through its momentous strides in defeating discrimination and forging strength from times of adversity. Canada’s strength sources not from the differences, but instead because of them. Canada’s commitment is a dynamic and continuous approach to making Canada, as well as the world, a better, and safer, place. In recognition of the adversity overcome by the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) throughout Canadian history, the construction of a national theatre honoring LGBTQ communities will exemplify the country’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
