Moments that influenced my identity?

Women in history have faced adversity yet met it head on and that is a something I strive to do in my life. During World War One and the Great Depression women showed strength, compassion, bravery and determination. Their actions influence my Canadian identity. They showed these attributes on the homefront, at the front as nurses, and through the rights movements they forwarded. These are major influences on who I am as a person, and who I strive to be as I mature.
