My favorite part of Canadian History is learning about the Home front during World War One and Two.
As a proud woman in a country and century I am considered equal, I was interested in learning about a time when women were oppressed.
I love military history as well as studying Canada's past relationship with the United States, as both continue to impact our lives today.
Our flag is no longer a relic of the past but a symbol which carries meaning from our collective history and into the unforeseeable future.
