Canada Half Empty

At the end of the 19th century and throughout the 20th century, Canada was rapidly expanding as a nation. Wilfrid Laurier predicted that the 20th century would be Canada’s opportunity to transform into a distinguished country and be recognized for its success internationally. Despite the Canadian accomplishments prior to Laurier’s statement and its military achievements, Canada did not successfully flourish in the 20th century due to its unstable economy and internal conflicts.
