Laurier's Undeniable Truth

Perhaps one of the most influential and important Prime Minister’s of our country, Wilfrid Laurier, once said that Canada would “fill” the twentieth century. By this, he meant that Canada was entering a century of firsts, and with that comes significant change. Laurier himself was an epitome for change, as he was the first FrenchCanadian Prime Minister. History shows that Laurier was correct because of the evolution of women’s rights, the development of multiculturalism, and the country’s growing nationalism.

My favourite part of Canadian History is learning about World War 2 and women's history. I find these topics relate to our lives currently.
