Turning a New Leaf

Wilfred Laurier has been without a doubt, one of Canada’s greatest politicians. His now bold claim regarding “progress”, was more than reasonable at the time; without a doubt, his prediction of Canada filling the twentieth century echoes through time―not because Canadians succeeded, but rather, because they narrowly missed the vision he had anticipated as an economic powerhouse. Had he meant compassion and humanity, then certainly it is modest to claim that Canada had filled the twentieth century―that through peacekeeping and the impacts of our humanitarian governmental policies―Canada had developed the Canadian identity that many respect.

I love being able to cultivate arguments from multiple perspectives―it allows the reader to arrive to their own conclusions.
