Women's Suffrage: Success in the Prairies

The fight for suffrage, and its conclusion in favour of equality, was a huge step forward and showed the power of a people who can band together and persevere. Nellie McClung lived the mindset many modern feminists to have, and her values can be applied to many other areas of life. Summarized in one simple quote from the woman herself- “Never retract, never explain, never apologize – get the thing done and let them howl.”
