Michael J Duggan, from Lloydtown, Ontario, enlisted in December 1915, at age eighteen. He served in the 92nd Highlanders. He was wounded several times, including at Passchendaele, and was awarded a war medal. He worked at The Canadian Press for most of his life. He was the head of the St. Vincent DePaul Society in Toronto during the depression and was the Chairman of the Separate School Board in Toronto for many years. He died at 82 in Toronto, Ontario.
