Daniel Edmond Booth

Booth survived the war, but unfortunately was killed in an industrial accident in New York City on April 29, 1949.


Daniel Edmond Booth enlisted in the 52nd Battalion on April 29, 1915, and served in England and in France. Born on August 23, 1892 in Boston, he was the second oldest of ten children born to James Henry Booth, of Halifax and Annie Bridget (nee MacKinnon) of Boularderie, Cape Breton. Booth was raised in North Sydney, Nova Scotia. His father was a well-known architect. Booth survived the war, but unfortunately was killed in an industrial accident in New York City on April 29, 1949.
