Project: Helping Hands in Space

This project is about Canadian Space Robotics as well as its benefits.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The extent of Canada’s reach. When I started all I knew about it was Canadarm. Yet there is so much more to it that I couldn’t put on my board to the video. I also found it interesting to see how many people do not like space.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

That investing in space is incredibly useful. Sure there are a lot of problems on Earth, but looking elsewhere will help us see the situation in a new light. In ancient times, humans used to be hunter gatherers, then agricultural changed that. The same goes for space. If we invest in it a lot of good things will come out of it.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

They start things early, I procrastinate. They think of multiple possibilities, I go down in a set path. However the one thing we have in common is perseverance.
