A research project on traditional Inuit clothing. The design and functionality of it.

What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The importance of the animals to the life of the Inuit

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

The traditional clothing that the Inuit used over the years to survive the harsh arctic climate.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

We are more fortunate today.

    Alailah, I found your project very informative with you providing what animals and skins are used for what type of clothing, the traditional clothing seems more durable and warmer than what we have synthetically. I learned that socks are made from seal or the caribou leg skin. I also really like your backboard and the Inuktitut language on it. Thank you for sharing. Good luck!!
