They hung him with our white and left him with my red. They fled towards their yellow and found my green. I gave them blue when they showed nothing but black but still they carried on.

Ma’am, can you hear me? Ma’am!

He took my children! Where are my children? I hear joy and pain but it’s not the same.

Ma’am? We need a doctor in here! Quickly!

They tell me I have amnesia. They tell me I must be wrong. I remember each and every single soul I’ve fostered and I will not forget. They took my children and my husband I’m not ready for what’s next.

Okay ma’am, we’re going to lie you down. It’s going to be alright.

I hand tied each soldier with a red string of fate. I felt each snap as they lost their lives so far away. Don’t you hear it? The echo, of tragedies long past. Ma’am, I’m going to need you to breath.
