Expo 67 and its Visions

The extravagant and wild designs of the clothing featured at Expo 67 are what many say officially marked Montreal as a fashion capital. They brought in designers, tourists, and sparked conversations about what was deemed appropriate for women to wear by everyone except the women wearing the clothes. The bright and bold patterns set in motion currents of thought and new ideas that are still very prominent in the current societal discourse.
