The Canadian Century

Laurier once said, “Canada will fill the 20th century.” By filling the century, Canada would have had to make many important and long lasting contributions to society... Perhaps [he] was correct in his prediction. Over the course of the 20th century, Canadian scientific innovations flourished, Canadian arts infiltrated the world, and Canadian quality of life serves as a role model for all. We are a humble and polite nation, but according to the evidence, perhaps we are bigger than one might think.
