Arthur died of influenza and pneumonia December 18, 1918, at Eteppes, France, just over a month after the Armistice


Arthur Robinson was born in 1887 in Blackburn, Lancashire, England. He moved to Fall River, Massachusetts, by 1910. He crossed the border to enlist in Montreal on April 8th, 1918, and fought as a member of the 13th Battalion. At the time of his enlistment, he worked as a weaver, and was married to Edna May Robinson. At almost 31 years of age, he was quite older than typical recruits at the time.

Unfortunately, Arthur died of influenza and pneumonia December 18, 1918, at Eteppes, France, just over a month after the Armistice. He is buried at Etaples Military Cemetery, France.
