Alexander Wright McSeveny from Sarnia, Ontario, enlisted in 1915. McSeveny served in the 58th Battalion and saw action in France. Alexander and his wife, Violet Gunn, moved back to Scotland after the war. A few years later they returned to Canada and shortly after moved to Detroit. Alexander lived the rest of his life in the United States.
