The Canadian War Museum is helping a Grade 8 student prepare for The Greatest Canadian History Fair at Dr. Roberta Bondar Public School in Ajax, Ont. To help Midhat Naeem support her case for Major-General Sir Isaac Brock as the greatest Canadian, the Canadian War Museum will display the coat in which Brock was killed during the Battle of Queenston Heights, according to a news release from the museum.

Environment Minister Catherine McKenna says she’s concerned about the tens of millions of dollars in cuts to Parks Canada under the former Conservative government and wants to ensure the agency is “true to the mandate” of ensuring the ecological integrity of the parks.
