One of our francophone Twitter followers has excellent online resources for Québec. They may not be genealogy-specific, but she is very prolific in combing the internet and collecting weblinks related to "Québec patrimoine." If this is of interest, I encourage you to check out her blog.

New Brunswick Irish Portal

This site the New Brunswick Irish Portal is an excellent site to go to if you are looking for information on the infamous Irish potato famine and the conditions surrounding the Irish mass exodus to Canada in the 19th century.
There are pictures from British newpapers on the living conditions in Ireland.
There are searchable databases and exhibits on the site as well.

I think this is a great idea! I am a little surprised a link to the HBC Company archives -- particularly their alphabetized historical Biographical Sheets at

has not made the list -- 'til now. ;-}>
