What was the most interesting thing you learned about your topic?

The most interesting thing I learned about Hawaiian pizza is where the inspiration for creating a dish like this came from.

What important lessons have you learned that you want to share with other Canadians?

Although you may think that Hawaiian pizza comes from Hawaii, it is actually purely a Canadian invention. It has a deep and interesting story about how it came to be.

How would you compare your life today to the lives of those studied in your project?

My life is much better than the lives of those studied in my project. When Sam Panopoulos, the inventor of Hawaiian pizza first immigrated to Canada, it must have been hard for him to settle down and make a successful business.
