Great War Heroes

All over Canada there are streets and squares named after First World War battles and soldiers.

Bishop House

In Owen Sound, Ont., visitors can explore Bishop House. The First World War flying ace lived here as a boy. It is now a museum about him and his war experience, which includes shooting down a reported 73 German planes. The museum also looks at Canadian military and airplane history.
