Glenn Coapland from Foster, Quebec enlisted on March 25, 1916, from Knowlton, Quebec and served as a private with the 148th Battalion and 24th Battalion. He was killed in action on April 9, 1917, during the attack at Vimy Ridge. He was an electrician when he joined the army at age nineteen.
