John Proctor

Jack died from wounds suffered on August 16, 1918. He is buried near where he died.


John (Jack) Proctor of Birch Lake, Ontario, enlisted with the 119th Battalion at Massey, Ontario, on 13 January 1916. He was 20 years old. Proctor served in England until he was transferred to the 58th Battalion in March 1918. Jack died from wounds suffered on August 16, 1918. He is buried near where he died, in the Hillside Cemetery, three kilometres north-east of the village of Le Quesnel, France.
