James Grenville Kydd was a private in the 52nd Battalion (Manitoba Regiment). Born in Parry Sound in northern Ontario on May 12, 1898, he enlisted on February 23, 1916 from Hamilton, Ontario. He was killed in action on October 1, 1918 at Tilloy-lez-Cambrai.
