Herbert Gardiner

Despite many plane crashes, Herbert Gardiner survived the Great War.


Herbert was a pilot who enlisted from the University of Toronto and died after the war of the injuries he received during his crashes.

Gardiner was born in Iowa, U.S.A to British parents. At the time of enlistment, his next-of-kin, was his mother Elizabeth Gardiner, who was listed as living in Regina, Saskatchewan. Herbert Gardiner was born April 28th, 1893.
