Postmedia News: ‘Forgotten Empress’ sank 100 years ago, took 1,012 lives

People are travelling to Rimouski, Que., to mark the centenary of Canada’s deadliest maritime disaster during peacetime, and there are special exhibits about the Empress of Ireland at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Que., and the Maritime Museum of British Columbia in Victoria.
